BEGINNING, Monday April 6th....Meal and Home based learning packet delivery via your bus route. Buses will run/deliver on the following schedule every Monday. Plan accordingly to be at your stop. Internet speeds are up to 30 Mbps if you do not already have access to a home internet plan. PSA...The Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA) is collaborating with the OSDE to provide in-home learning opportunities for students while schools are closed due to coronavirus. Beginning today, March 30, OETA will be adjusting its daytime schedule to provide curriculum-based programming for students Monday-Friday from 6am until 6pm, which will last until the end of the school year. Meals for Thursday March 26 and Friday March 27 will be available Thursday March 26, between the times of 8 AM-10:30 AM. All meals for the week of March 30 through Friday April 3rd will be handed out on Monday March 30th between the times of 8 AM-10:30 AM.

Just a reminder that HPS is offering grab and go meals for community/district students/anyone under 18. March 23 thru April 3rd. Per USDA guidelines, students must be present to receive a meal. Come and utilize this program.

HOWEVER, THE RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE CDC/PRESIDENTIAL GUIDELINES CONCERNING THE COVID-19(CORONA VIRUS ) AT THE MOMENT IS NO MORE THAN 10 PERSONS AND THE PRACTICE OF SOCIAL DISTANCING OF 6 FEET TO AVOID THE SPREAD OF THE VIRUS. IF MORE THAN 10 PERSONS ARE PRESENT, PLEASE ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK, AS THIS IS AGAINST THE RECOMMENDED GUIDELINES. NO PETS ALLOWED . SERVICE ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED .

PSA..... Heavener Public Schools meal update ... Per the USDA guideline waiver, Schools will now be allowed to give two meals during distribution. One breakfast and one lunch will given to our to students.at one time ....with this the time of distribution window will be 8AM-10:30 AM , at both distribution sites, elementary awning and the Glenn Scott center... it still is a grab-n-go distribution. Per USDA GUIDELINES students must be present to receive a meal .Remember no student congregation and social distancing will be in effect . Thank you for your help and understanding . #ALPHACARING

PSA... Parents, HPS will offer breakfast and lunch to any and all persons under 18 in the Heavener area community beginning March 23,2020 due to the mandatory school closing. The process will be a drive thru/grab-n-go distribution process. As no student congregation is advised during this time frame. Distribution will be at the elementary awning., and the Glenn Scott center. Per federal guidelines students must be present to receive a meal. TIME : Breakfast distribution 7:30-8:30 AM.....
