Fourth Grade Gifted & Talented students' brain flakes challenge! Building provides a "brain workout" by finding answers without relying on ready-made solutions. Scientist have discovered, using MRI brain scans, that activities like these stimulate the formation of new neural pathways. These activities engage the prefrontal cortex portion of the brain; enhancing students' creativity and ability to solve complex problems.

Today, students kept their learning fun and engaging by playing educational games! Breaking up the usual routine with something different helps maintain student motivation. Through these activities, students practiced recognizing common phonemic patterns. This skill makes it easier for them to decode unfamiliar words with confidence.
