Each student captured key themes, characters, and personal connections from the novel using words, images, and symbols—all on a single page. The LeFlore County High School Basketball Tournament will take place January 19–24.
Games will be played at Panama, Bokoshe, and Howe during the first three days, with all games moving to Spiro for the final three days of the tournament.

Snow Day Schedule for Friday, January 30 will be moved to Thursday, February 6.

❄️🐻 Polar Plunge for a Great Cause! 🐻❄️
Heavener Special Olympics is accepting donations to support the annual Polar Plunge at the Poteau Pool—a fundraiser benefiting Oklahoma Special Olympics.
Donations will be accepted through February 25th. Every contribution helps support Special Olympics and makes a big difference for our athletes.
The cost to participate in the plunge is $75 per person (T-shirt included).

Heavener FCCLA and culinary classes harvested and delivered their first crops today. Students will be learning to grow different produce in hydroponic gardens and using it for recipes in class and also donating to local food pantries.

Aiyden has earned his certified Business Office Specialist certification and is also certified in Word Processing, giving him two Career Certifications. He needed 38.5 points to pass and scored an outstanding 46.56!
Aiyden is an exceptional student with a very bright future. He will be representing us at the BPA State Leadership Conference, competing in Excel.
