Heavener Athletics will be selling Webber Falls Sweet Corn again this summer. All monies raised will go toward our athletic budget to help us fund various needs of all our programs. 💥2024 Senior TRANSCRIPTS and packets are ready!💥
Seniors: Your packets (including your final transcript and diploma) are now ready to be picked up in the high school office. You may pick up your packet Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please plan to make arrangements to pick up all final items between MAY 30th, 2024 and JUNE 13th, 2024.
Also, before you come to pick up your final items, there are a few things that are important to note:
1) If you are 18 or older you will need to present to the office in order to sign for items (relatives/others are not allowed to sign for you if you are legally an adult)
2) While the school maintains a copy of your transcript for 80 years, all other records are most often destroyed after 5 years
3) Your packet should have two copies of your transcript-one for YOU to keep and one for any college or employer who might be ready for it!
4) You may not pick up your diploma if you owe money or items that need to be returned (books, computers, chargers, uniforms, banners, etc.). Please bring items that belong to the school with you or prepare to pay for them when picking up your final packet.
5) If you have yet to complete summer school requirements, you will need to do so before coming to sign for items.

GT summer camp students learned about different rocks & minerals by completing a treasure hunt. Students also used hammers to crack open geodes to explore the pocket inside of the rocks.
The Elementary Gifted & Talented "Summer Science Academy" was a great success! Students participated in hands-on activities to learn about surface tension, geodes, and diffusion.

Congratulations to our Women's and Men's soccer teams for their academic recognition from the OSSAA. Our women's team received the Academic Achievement Certificate for having a team GPA above 3.25 and being in the top 1/2 of their class. Our men's team received the Distinguished Academic Plaque for having a team GPA above 3.5 and being in the top 10% of their class. A group of HHS FFA members traveled to state convention this week. Three of these students received their State FFA Degrees: Kason Krebbs, Devry Ritter, and Melayna Alexander. Dawson Frizzell sang on stage in the Expo. Also, the Sporting Clay Team that placed 3rd in the State and Connor Maxwell was overall 1st high individual were recognized.

ATTENTION STUDENT ATHLETES: Physicals were held at school today. If you did not get yours today you will need to by May 31, your current physical expires at this time. YOU CANNOT participate in summer pride/offseason without a current physical on file. We have forms in the office. All students participating in any sport (this includes cheer), and band grades 6-12 must have a physical and all ossaa/school required forms signed and on file. Heavener High School students who donated blood in April were given tickets to visit the Tulsa Zoo. The group took their trip to the zoo on May 7th.
