Here is a Thursday activity for HPS students. Look for 3 dimensional shapes, such as cones, cubes, rectangular prisms, cylinders, and triangular pyramids. Make a list of shapes you observed during your walk/exploration. Be sure to share your photos of what you find.

From Mr. Westfall Our upper elementary teachers (grades 6-8) have been contacting parents and developing lessons for online students and for students who need printed take-home packets. We understand that this process is unfamiliar and unprecedented, but for anyone who has any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 918.653.2815. You can leave a voice mail with your name and number, and I will call you. If you prefer to email your questions, my email address is jwestfall@heavenerschools.org. For parents who requested bus deliveries of printed learning packets, we have placed those packets by grade level with the bus drivers for those routes. (Please see the previous post on bus route schedules). For parents who are driving to the school to pick up printed learning packets, those packets are available for pickup at the main elementary office building’s drive-thru line from 8am - 10:30am. For students who have online access, your teachers are communicating online activities through your student email accounts. Please check your email for instructions. I want to express my thanks to the families of our students. Your positive attitude and support is of utmost importance to this process as we navigate the next few weeks.
