4,5,6 BB Girls play at Howe tomorrow (Oct 17) at 4:30pm. Boys play at Heavener. 6th grade boys will play the first game at 4:30pm.
A part of the HHS Drama class traveled to Poteau tonight to support their fellow classmates Hayden, Kynlee, Gunnar & Brylie in a Good Times Community Theatre's production of The Music Man. They did an AWESOME job! A big shout out and thank you to Mrs. Wright for driving the group!

Heavener CC teams have good outing
GREENWOOD, Ark. – Heavener’s cross country teams had another good outing at the Thrill on the Hill in Greenwood Thursday.
For the boys’ junior high team, they were meet champions and Diego Cruz was the overall champion. Also receiving medals were Mason Standifer, Giovanni Martinez, Hernan Alverado, Jesus Canada, Joey Velazquez and Edgar Casildo.
The junior high girls were fourth with Jessalyn Kaye and Jenna Scroggins receiving medals.
The high school boys were runner ups as Steven Cruz finished third and Seth Lynch was fourth. Also receiving medals were Isaac Cook, who ran 3.1 miles with only one shoe on, and Parker Brand.
The high school girls were led by Allison Palmer, who finished fourth. Also receiving medals were Alexa Cruz and Chloe McMahan.

Parents of Sophomores: HHS will be administering the PreACT to ALL sophomores on October 10th NEXT week. This is an excellent opportunity for your sophomore student to get experience and feedback towards an ACT score. The PreACT is a shortened version, but the score is still valuable to your students! Please mark your calendars and help get your students on time to school, so they do not miss out on this free opportunity. For more information, please contact the High School office.

Heavener Middle School students of the month for October are sixth grader Elizabeth Reyes, seventh grader Andrea Javier and eighth grader Caleb Castillo.
