The STAR application is now available. This incentive program rewards students for their academic excellence and encourages success in the classroom. Parents and guardians can apply for their students enrolled in grades 2-12. The application window for the previous fall semester will close on April 1.

Wilburton’s boys and girls both fell into a big hole early and could never recover in a pair of Black Diamond Conference games to Heavener here Tuesday night.
Heavener’s girls took the opener 47-37, before the boys completed the sweep with a dominating 58-29 victory..
The Wolves are now 8-2 while the Lady Wolves improve to 6-4. Heavener returns home Friday to play Hartshorne in another district game. Wilburton’s boys are 5-5 while the Lady Diggers are 1-7.
HPS, don't forget we will resume classes tomorrow, January 2nd! This will NOT include after-school tutoring- that will start back up on the 9th. We hope you had a restful break, and welcome back!

Announcing the cast of MEAN GIRLS:
Heavener High school BPA hosted a 12 Days of Grinchmas Blood Drive today. Thanks to the students, facility, and community we helped save 132 lives today.
The 5th & 6th grade Academic Teams competed in District Tournaments this week. They were District Champions and Runner- Up in the OJABA League. In the OAAC League, they finished District Champions and third place. #ALPHAIQ
Heavener BPA hosted Bingo night at the Heavener Nursing Home. There were lots of “BINGO”’s, prizes, and smiles.
