The Heavener Lady Wolves Slow Pitch teams season came to a close last Thursday, April 25 at the regional tournament. The Lady Wolves had a great season with a 28 - 13 record this year. This year the team did not have one single senior on the team this year. So that means they will hopefully pick up right where the left of next season. Kylee Free is a junior on the team that has played on the team for three years. When asked about how she felt about the last game she said “ To be completely honest I had bronchitis that game so I had no voice and had to have an inhaler throughout the day. I hate losing so I was very upset, but also knowing that was our last game really sucked. Even though we had no seniors it was still an emotional game. We were proud we exceeded everyone’s expectations, but we wanted to go further .”
With this season coming to a close we are excited to see the Lady Wolves back in action next March!
