Purple & Gold Hall of Fame
Heavener, Oklahoma has a long, rich history of outstanding individuals who have excelled in their field of expertise. To recognize their accomplishments, the Heavener School system along with the Heavener Alumni Association have created the “Purple and Gold Hall of Fame”.
Superintendent, Ed Wilson’s longtime vision to recognize former students, teachers, and administrators has finally come to fruition. When he shared his dream with several Alumni members, the idea was developed into the “Purple and Gold Hall of Fame".
The premise of the Hall of Fame is to recognize those individuals who have shown outstanding character and impeccable talent in their field of expertise. The Purple and Gold Hall of Fame will have a selection committee made up of both school personnel and Heavener Alumni Association members. The selection committee will follow the rules and guidelines of the Purple and Gold Hall of Fame. The selection committee will begin the process in early 2025. This exciting process of selecting the inductees will be announced at the 2025 Alumni Banquet.
