It is something that lives with her every day, but she does not let it keep her from doing her best, or let it define her. When she was very young her parents got a divorce, and she and her brother went to live with there Dad. She still visited her Mom often but as she grew, more and more issues popped up. Eventually, it got to a point when she stopped seeing her.

She has not seen her Mother in six years, “but with each passing day, it gets easier and easier.” She doesn’t let what she has been through stop her from being a good person. She looks back at her past and sees the good that has come from it. She thinks about how she could have developed into a totally different person, but she keeps a positive outlook, and she has stayed strong in spite of the pain. She is so thankful for her Dad because he raised them into amazing kids all on his own.

He never spoiled us, yet he gave them everything they needed. He has always been there even when it got rough. She still wonders about her Mom and how her life is. She wonders what it would have been like if she was still apart of there lives. She tries not to get upset when she does because due to the fact they are better apart. She has so many motherly figures in her life from aunts to grandmothers and teachers, She knows how a mother should be, and when she is older she knows she will be ready.
