Our Heavener 2017-2018 Golf players consists of : Gracie Summers, Journey Perdue, Mollie Oliver, and Braxton Sullivan. The girls first tournament is going to be on March 8th at Okemah Golf Club and the boys first tournament is going to be on March 9th Cherokee Trails Golf Club. I spoke with one of the players, Journey Perdue, and asked her how she’s feeling about the upcoming season! Luckily, her dad was the one that got the golf program to start back up again. She’s has always played golf, ever since she could hold a club, but has competitively playing for five years. She says she is very competitive and is always looking forward to golf season. She hopes that one day she’ll get a golf scholarship and play professionally.
