Heavener High School has not always been the Heavener Wolves. First, during the 1910’s, it was the Heavener Tigers. In 1930, the Heavener Hurricanes. Finally, in 1931, the name changed to the Heavener Wolves for good. Through the years, the wolf costume has undergone a few characteristic changes.
