Heavener Public Schools invites you to the Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2020. To be held in Harvey Stadium on June 26, 2020 at 8:00 pm. Students will be seated on the football field; seating for friends and family will be either the home or visitor stands. Faculty will be seated on the track. Students need to be in the cafeteria by 7:20 pm with their cap/gown and must wear a mask until they reach the stadium. You are encouraged to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Enrollment papers for Heavener High School students for the 2020/2021 school year may be picked up/returned to the High School office beginning Monday, June15, Mon-Thurs, 8am-2pm. The Heavener Kindergarten classes can pick up their cap and gown on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, 8:30-10:30. Mrs. Drury will be in front of the main elementary building, Mrs. Culwell in front of the main gym, and Ms. Kelli will be at the high school parking lot. Each child is encouraged to put their cap and gown on and step out of the car so the teacher may take a picture. Parents please follow the social distancing guidelines.

We understand that this process is unfamiliar and unprecedented, but for anyone who has any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 918.653.2815. For parents who requested bus deliveries of printed learning packets, we have placed those packets by grade level with the bus drivers for those routes. Mrs. Rye’s 3rd Grade class is taking advantage of the current situation by starting a handwashing experiment. One piece of bread was untouched by human hands, one was touched by dirty hands, one by hands washed with soap and water, one with hands sanitized with hand sanitizer, and one was touched by a chromebook.
