A MINUTE WITH THE NEW EDITION TO THE COACHING STAFF
Coach Bryan Warren has finally made the circle back to where his coaching career began! Home of the Heavener Wolves! In high school, he played all sports and his high school coach and math teacher had a lot to do with him wanting to go to college and begin coaching. “They were both such wonderful people and they are what inspired me to become a coach,” he reflected when asked who had made an impact on his life.
Coach Warren has been coaching all together for twenty-four years, and at the beginning of his career, he taught and coached for eleven years at Heavener High. Then, he moved to Hodgen and taught cross country, track, and archery. The most rewarding part of coaching for him is, “Seeing a kid’s face light up when they finally see and catch on to what I’m teaching is the most rewarding.”
