Taylor Swift is back, and with a vengeance. I’m sure that you’ve heard her newest song “Look What You Made Me Do” on the radio at least 10 times a day. The song has received mixed reviews- some love the new, bold side of Taylor Swift, while others are mourning the “death” of her old sound. The song was lacking in many ways. Taylor’s usual thoughtful, story-like lyrics were replaced by repetitive ones. The sound was similar to that of every other “hit” that is over-played on the radio. Overall, it was very underwhelming for all of the hype it received. I hope that her new album changes my mind.
